Rob Reiner and his son Nick Reiner reportedly had a heated conversation at a holiday party on Saturday night, a day before the director and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, were found dead.
As per a recent report by TMZ, the 78-year-old filmmaker and his son Nick, 37, got into a “very loud argument” during a Christmas party hosted by Conan O’Brien on December 13.
A source told People, “Nick was freaking everyone out, acting crazy, kept asking people if they were famous.”
After the altercation, Rob and his wife left the party, as reported by TMZ.
On December 14, the couple was murdered in their Los Angeles home. Rob and Michele’s dead bodies were discovered by their daughter Romy.
Nick has been arrested with a charge of murder and is being held without bail.
Rob and Michele who first met when Rob was directing When Harry Met Sally and tied the knot in 1989, were parents to three kids: Jake, Romy and Nick.
