After much anticipation, Aiden Ross has finally become the latest artist to join the list of champions who get the crown of The Voice.
His victory in season 28 marks a significant career milestone, as the reality show is seen by many as a launching pad for emerging artists.
As previously, Michael Bublé, a coach on the reality show, explained, “There’s a reason why The Voice remains such a success after so many years, and it’s because it really is about the artists.”
He further told People, “The talent on this show is incredible, and it’s been such a beautiful experience to be a part of the process.”
What does The Voice winner get?
Mainly two prizes. The first one is a record deal by Universal Music Group, while the second is a cash reward. Reports say the total is $100,000.
Chevel Shepherd, who won season 15 at 16, previously told the outlet she had little idea how she would spend the money.
“Maybe a car,” she added. “We had to postpone getting my permit because of The Voice so when we get back [home], I have to get it.”
She continued, “I would love to have a Chevelle because that’s my name. So me and my dad are probably going to get one and build a ’72 [Chevrolet] Chevelle together.”
The Voice has been aired on NBC and Peacock.
