‘Shrinking’ season three trailer shows Michael J. Fox’s return

Apple TV+ drops ‘Shrinking’ season three trailer

Shrinking, a hit series on Apple TV+, drops its trailer for season three, where Michael J. Fox is making a return.

It is noticeable that the actor took a retirement from acting in 2020 after suffering from speech issues related to his Parkinson’s diagnosis.

His condition ties into the show’s theme, where Paul Rhoades, played by Harrison Ford, has it in season one.

Though Michael’s entry was not a surprise to fans because the series had announced back in May that he would be making a guest appearance.

Regarding his role, Michael previously told People that when he first watched the series, he called Bill Lawrence, the show’s creator.

“I said, ‘You did a show about Parkinson’s, and you didn’t call me?’ And he said, ‘Oh, you want to do it?’ And I said, ‘I’d love to do it'”.

During this call, the actor recalled that the creator returned with an interesting concept. “So he said, ‘Let me think about it, see what I can do.’ So he went to work on it and came up with this concept, it’s really good.”

Though the Back to the Future star did not reveal much about the concept, he added that he plays a character with Parkinson’s.

“It was the first time ever I got to show up on-set, and I didn’t have to worry about am I too tired or coughing or anything,” he noted.

“I just do it. It was really good, because for the moments when I say, ‘I’m not going to be able to do this,’ then I say, ‘Well, I’ll just deal with how I can’t do it in the scene.’ And you get through it,” Michael shared.

Shrinking season three will stream on Apple TV+ on January 28.
