Emma Heming Willis is touching upon the time she first started dating husband, Bruce Willis.
The actor’s wife turned to her Instagram on Wednesday to share a throwback story of herself with Willis, captioning: “18 years ago, he became my boyfriend. With one kiss on the top of my head, time stood still.”
“I’m so lucky to know this kind of love,” she added.
Speaking about one of her earlier romance days, Heming Willis added: “I got to see this other side of Bruce, who was a family man.”
She told PEOPLE. “On that trip, I ended up falling for him really hard. That was the start of our love story.”
“If the girls were swimming in the pool, he would come home, dive in with his clothes on just to get a laugh. He’s the iconic girl dad,” Heming Willis added of her spouse.
Speaking further on PEOPLE exclusively at the End Well 2025, Heming Willis, said life has become different aftr her husband’s dementia diagnosis. Speaking specifically of Christmas, Heming Willis said that the holiday has become different. has been different ever since Bruce’s sickness
“It’s joyous. It’s just different. Bruce loved Christmas and we love celebrating it with him. It just looks different, so we’ve kind of adapted to that.”
