Lewis Pullman is pulling back the curtain on the advice he received from his father, Bill Pullman, about Hollywood.
For those unversed, Lewis is the youngest son of Independence Day star Bill Pullman and dancer Tamara Hurwitz.
The former couple, both 55, also share daughter Maesa, 37, and son Jack, 36, both of whom work in creative fields as well.
“I get so much great and valuable advice from my dad. He doesn’t give me straight up advice. He sort of leads by example and through storytelling,” Lewis told the outlet.
He also shared that Bill has always been careful not to impose his own experiences on his son’s journey, allowing Lewis the freedom to grow independently and make his own discoveries.
Moreover, he explained that his father has been mindful of the fact that they are fundamentally different people, each navigating life and career in their own way.
“He doesn’t want to stand in the way of me finding a path that is my own, and very conscious of the fact that we’re different people with different tendencies and how we grow is different.”
Before conclusion, he gushed, “I don’t know how I’d be able to do anything without him. I love him so much.”
