Sutton Foster, Hugh Jackman’s relationship ‘gets worse’ due to Kate Hudson?

Sutton Foster is reportedly “mad with jealousy” as her boyfriend Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson have developed a strong bond.

For those unaware, Jackman and Hudson’s biographical musical drama film Song Sung Blue was released on December 25, 2025.

The movie, which starred the 57-year-old Australian actor and singer as Mike Sardine and the 46-year-old American actress and singer as Claire Sardina, provided both stars an opportunity to grow super close.

Hudson, who is currently engaged to musician Danny Fujikawa and shares a daughter, Rani Rose, with him, even once called Jackman her “work hubby,” which has left Foster reeling with anger.

An insider told Radar Online, “The first thing people may wonder when they see Song Sung Blue is, ‘Hey, why isn’t Sutton Foster in this movie with Hugh?’

They stated, “She’s the right age, she has the right look, and, unlike Kate Hudson, she’s actually an accomplished singer. But the vision for this project required that Hugh star opposite someone who is equally famous, and that disqualified Sutton.”

As Foster, the Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life actress, is consumed by jealousy over growing chemistry between the X-Men actor and the Glorious songstress, the source warned, “With a big promotional tour ahead for Hugh and Kate, it’s only going to get worse for Sutton, even if Hugh doesn’t see what all the fuss is about.”
